Everything Colorless

Edited by:  Randy Sturridge

Clones of shattered youth are born

Evacuated shells of previous generations

Emotionless days and vacant dinner tables

Hard tiled floors of a cultureless nation

Perpetuating activism fighting for others

Bi-products of war and deaths of mothers

Speeches of yesterday drown out the skies

Propelling future hopes of past mentioned times

Everything colorless with senses so plain

Society forgotten with faith in nation deranged

Clones built on promises of better days

Slowly accepting all these shades of grey

Thank you very much...generally shorter than most of my poetry but if every one can relate and take something from this, then it is worth putting up. Thanks again.

Randy- another excellent write. Theme is universal and well-stated. Lines work well individually and in relation to the entire write. But what I like most is, especially in a poem such themed, that you kept a mono-toned voice throughout the poem- perfect pacing for this type of piece- You've been doing a great job layering and constructing your poems beneath the surface lately. When I first started reading your work I liked the pieces but they weren't nearly as layered or detailed structurally as they are now. Great job-love seeing an evolution in progress:)

I was very happy to seek out this net-site. I wished to thank in your time for this glorious read! I definitely enjoying each little bit of it. Can I simply say what a reduction to find someone who actually is aware of what they are talking about on the internet. It's laborious to search out knowledgeable individuals on this subject however you definitely know easy methods to convey an issue to light and make it important. Extra folks have to read this and perceive this facet of the story. I cant believe youre not more standard since you undoubtedly have the gift. however you sound like you understand what you're speaking about. Additionally, I simply gave this onto a colleague who was doing a little analysis on this. And he reality is bought me breakfast outcome I discovered it for him. So let me reword that: Thanks for the deal with and for spending the time to debate this, I really feel strongly about it and love studying extra on this topic. If attainable, would you mind updating your weblog with more particulars? Its highly helpful for me. Big thumb up for this blog submit!

Beyond the traditional, Thank you, How kind, Very Nice of you...I would just like to say your comment initially had me second guessing the validity in truth as I would not have expected to receive anything like this for much of anything I have written....haha especially since I wrote this in about 12 minutes at a gas station...

However, my presumption was indeed proven incorrect after doing a bit of research and with that I can only express my gratitude and humility in receiving such a substantially genuine and value worthy post as this. I thank you greatly for providing such positive feedback as well as showing it to your friend whom as you said bought you breakfast for the read. To that I am very (yet again)grateful that I was able to excite one enough to feed another haha.. I do like this path and subject of poetry and have written a few more and they will be released in the coming days...Thank you again sir and be sure, if you would like to recieve updates on any releases to follow the blog on the top right...

thank you.
