The Merit of Man

Drawn and Edited by:  Randy Sturridge

Once upon a time we all walked the lands

searching with hope to one day understand

The purposeful presence that bring about questions

Leading intellectuals to philosophize suggestions

Trial and error contract the scopes of limits

producing bi-products of various new secrets and sentiments

Generations anew stretch further their reach

hypothesizing theories with a testament in each

Time doth pass as do great thinkers

Leaving in their wake students and preachers

Reeling within the the absolute unknowns

allowing those forthcoming to secure similar tones

A history is built by the merit of man

Extending his passions to wake settled lands

We are a people of magnificient essence

Both in shape, stature, mentality and reference

With each procession in lineage and line

We approach with courage in answering the unknown

Take time to appreciate your dear fellow man

For without man's good nature this world is damned.

Trapped Awake

Know what its like to be trapped awake?

For days on end, hallucinate.

An immense strain upon the body

No falling asleep instead passing out

So damned exhausted one cant count

Thoughts so jumbled as one mumbles

Cant make sense of ones own mind

Speaking to oneself, in search of a sign

Paranoid by now, covering all tracks

Forgetting by this time that sleep one so lacks

For One Another

Drawn and Edited by: Randy Sturridge

A gift from one to another

Is not but everything that encourages others

The focus of life on distant shores subsides

Absolutes give way as molecules collide

I am King, I am Man

Days come and days go
Some so fast others slow
A day will come just for me
A day where everyone will see
Overlooked and Unimportant
Neutral compliance of some assortment
A day unlike the other days
Will come for me where I shall say
"All you people, all you souls
ghouls of guise with hearts of coals
I am king and here I stand
Grande and noble upon this land
I walk on by you in the halls
on the streets and in malls
Recognition goes unsaid
As though even my shadow's dead
Every dog gets his chance
A day he basks in circumstance
Remember me for all your years
My image in your mind I've seared
Let my life be marked by this
I am not seen, to just dismiss
I am Randy take notice here
Forget me not in all your years
Change the world I have not
Touched your mind or maybe taught
Understand I am one
That loves so much anyone
I am purposeful inside
By which I live and shall then die
A mark I've left I hope I have
To be remembered is not bad
Timeless treasures I possess
For every moment I have left"

Fantamorph: Must Try

One of my first attempt at flash videos.  It is a short Fantamorph clip  that is mainly geared toward taking one image and having it, throughout a series of frames, varying from 25, to 1000's.  The one below is no longer than 100 frames, with an altered image size, as initially it was an unbelievable 255 MB at six seconds.

Fantamorch is quite fun and no doubt definitely the first step in moving towards video rendering by artistic creation.  This is not bound by any means to image morphing alone and can serve as a means to transition to and from multiple images, and loop back and forth.  Fantamorph offers multiple export features and videos formats...it even offers HTML offline with an imbue option.  This is great for reducing upload rate.or for incorporating into an offline blog editor directory.

There is free software that can be used for this purpose. It is obviously better to use a software that has a substantial platform with multiple features with minimum confusion. For this reason I attached at link  below for Fantamorph's 30 day free trial that is definitely worth having a look at. It is downloadable and does not require you give any credit card information or anything like that.  Just a simple straight forward trial for a month that is no doubt worth doing.  It may be time consuming at first, given the resulting length of video but to create anything is satisfying in and of itself.

The below link is for the Abrosoft FantaMorph Pro Free 30 day Trial.

I know some of you would love to give this a try.  I ended up getting lucky and receiving it with PhotoImpactPro...So I can't wait to explore more of it's features and as stated  earlier here is my first creation.

Hope you in this little short creation.

Drawing: Inner Being

Artist: Randy Sturridge

The expression "inner beauty" is often used to compliment a person's amicable nature or characteristics.  The drawing above serves to depict the "inner thoughts and characteristics of the other end of that spectrum.  That being said I now seek your advice. What do you think could produce a mind and inner being such as this?

This will be an interesting discussion for I am very interested in what everyone comes up with.

Please share your opinion...

Masked

I drew this on August 20th 2011.  The inspiration behind this piece of art was simply draw into existence anything that should come forth.  This is the product.

Drawn with Sharpies.  In uploading the art I placed a mild black shadow as a border for the site.  Other than that the art is hand drawn.  Hope you like it.

Digital Editing Piece: Fade Away

An attempt to further improve image and art rendering to bring forth a whole new meaning in an otherwise ordinary moment.
