Shades of Yesterday

Created By:  Randy Sturridge

Lost are the times that brought about prosperity

Replaced by the overwhelming foreshadowed hostilities

The Minds of the citizen grow more and more dependent

Fostering entitlement and civil manner resentment

Conflicts rising among elected officials

Often stalemating over legislative dribble

The right of the citizen to make their own choices

Is robbed from their hands as the government sponge moistens

Tipping the balance from a capitalistic nation

Through unconstitutional over-reached legislation

Mandates and policy bringing forth a bleak future

Where Independence and pride are not granted but looted

Genuine Construct

Never stop, never settle down

One step ahead, on safer ground

Lock the windows, draw the shades

Down with the lightscandles okay

Struggle a constant, picking my head

Must secure a solution unique and unsaid

Perilous days are all that remain

Evacuated majority wanted no more pain

Malicious mistreated revenge declared

Tattered remnants from societal warfare

A genuine construct novel and beyond

Electrical particles tested all wrong

Plausible admonitions cautioned to late

as ideas of wonder influenced rage

Disease took hold unfathomed in stride

Purging the land not a matter of sides

Who are the victims who are the foe

No sides declared just survive with the flow

Revolving Door

Delegating accountability within an organization

Produces bi-product expenses and higher turn-over

Subordinate empowerment encourages collaboration

Improving productivity while reducing stagnation

Efficiency will increase and output will soar

Turn-over so low, remove the revolving door

Implementation of employee advancement

Through training and developing those in management

Endorse the strengths of subordinates you lead

Encourage innovative suggestions received

The politics of management are personal and cheap

Don't forget about the subordinates at your feet

Receiving workloads of delegated praise

Can destroy the desire to excel and remain

Organizational structure cannot long sustain

If accountability is delegating for personal gain

Public Relations

Public relations is one hell of an industry
With the ability to re-create any event in history
Re-defining the motives fueling causing and effect
Directing a focus by political sects
Supply and demand quite convoluted these days
with all of the endorsed factors in play
Tipping the balance that allows us to be free
Anything is possible with public relations you see

The cost of goods and services continue to rise
With the consistent passing as our small business dies
The corporate machine drives inflated costs
With intricate conveyance the truth becomes lost
An opportunity exists for every single man
To expose these obvious motives if he can
Rations on deck with the promise of depression
Open your eyes its the public relations direction
