Shrieking Love

Love looks lonely and broken these days

Replaced by promises that lay in haze

Love shrieks heavy and stomps the grounds

Beaten and battered with sorrow soaked sounds

Love's kind eyes are grubby and wet

Conquered with nostalgic memories kept

Love is a casing that’s curled in a ball

Once a labyrinth of bliss now a crushed wall

Love lays twisted in the cold night

Love gives up for Love lost the fight
